Frequently Asked Questions

  • Should I make an appointment?
Yes. Love Story Bridal is open by appointment only so that I can provide my clients with undivided attention. All of the dresses available are special orders made just for you, and many can be customized so having one-on-one time with me allows you to be educated on all of your options.
  • Why is there an appointment fee?
FAQ At Love Story Bridal, we believe that every bride deserves a personalized and exclusive bridal shopping experience. By charging a small appointment fee, we ensure that we can provide you with the best possible service. An Expert Bridal Stylist will dedicate their time and attention to help you select the perfect dress that fits your style, budget, and vision. The entire store is all yours during your appointment. We understand that wedding planning can be expensive, however investing in a quality bridal shopping experience is well worth it. We hope that you will find our appointment fee reasonable and that you will enjoy your time with us.
  • What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable, nude undergarments. A strapless nude bra is best but optional during the appointment as you will most likely not be wearing a bra on your wedding day. You should also bring a pair of shoes in the height you plan on wearing for your wedding. Please note that for hygiene purposes underwear is required to be worn during the entire appointment.
  • How many guests may I bring?
Although there is no official limit, please consider no more than 4 to 6.
  • May I bring small children?
The boutique is full of delicate and expensive dresses and it's best to leave children under 10 years of age behind.
  • Do you offer in-house alterations?
Love Story Bridal does not offer alterations in-house. However, we refer you to a talented and reputable seamstress just minutes away. Additionally, all dresses may be ordered custom to your measurements, therefore minimal if any alterations will be needed.
  • Do you require payment at time of purchase?
Yes, Love Story Bridal requires a payment in full at the time of your purchase. We place the order for your dress within 1-2 business days from the date of your purchase and pay your dress in full. This eliminates any stress for both Love Story Bridal and the customer knowing that the dress has been paid for and there will not be any hold ups with your dress shipping out from the designer.
  • What is the price range of your dresses?
I have hand-selected the entire collection of dresses which is priced between $1,300 and $2,600. The average dress price is right around $2,000. Love Story Bridal does not haggle on price. Prices are often set by the designers and Love Story Bridal is contractually obligated to not vary from them Please keep in mind that you have to factor in any customizations, rush if needed, and custom measure fees to your cost as well as tax.
  • What is your in store return policy?
Due to the fact that all dresses are made to order, there are no refunds accepted. All sales are final. If merchandise is left unclaimed in the boutique for 30 days or longer after receipt and notification to pick up (unless other arrangements are made), the merchandise becomes the property of Love Story Bridal, and payments are forfeited.
  • Do you sell sample dresses?
Yes! I have a selection of off the rack only sample dresses from designers I am not moving forward with. These dresses are marked down up to 60% off the retail price. I also offer all my sample dresses for off-the-rack purchase. This is especially helpful in instances with close wedding dates, or budget conscious brides.
  • What is your online store return policy?
We want to ensure your complete satisfaction with your Love Story Bridal online purchase. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with the product you have received, please get in touch with us within 7 days via to request a return or exchange.
  • Do you buy back previously worn dresses?
I am receiving lots of phone calls and messages about this. Love Story Bridal does not buy back any wedding dresses and does not consign dresses. Our focus is to maintain brand new current styles of dresses from designers we have partnered with.
